time
to
get
well

way

wherever
he

going
and
set
off
for
the
door
again

Calcifer
stopped
her

asked

of
her

flame

into
green
fingerlike
flames

the
end

Sophie
stacked
a
pile
of
logs
in
front
of
the
grate
so
that
Calcifer
could
at
least
reach
the
top
one

burn
them
until

got
them
in
the
grate

she
warned
him
,
and
she
set
off
for
the
door
yet
again
