best
of

situation

upon

themselves
invite
Clyde
for
dinner

Christmas

a
sedate
affair
to
which
many
others
were
bid

this
as
they
now
decided
would
serve
to
make
plain
to
all
and
at
once
that
Clyde
was
not
being
as
wholly
ignored
as
some
might
imagine
