they

one
another
aside

their
selfish
panic

just
like
so
many
human
beings

opportunity

firing
away

quickly
as
we
could

killed
five
of
the
poor
beasts

no
doubt
should
have
bagged
the
whole
herd

they

suddenly
given
up
their
