platform

side

sorting
belt
was

drew
near
he
saw
men
and
women
sitting
on
the
platform

hanging
their
legs
over

they
ate
their
lunches

group
of
about
thirty
men
had
collected
at
one
end
of
the
building

Someone
in
the
center
of
the
crowd
was
talking
excitedly

Jim
could
hear
the
rise
and
fall
of
his
voice

his
words

that
the
warmth
of

sunshine
