step

down

kitchen

it

At
last
they
came
to
the
top
of
the
stairs
and
stood
in
the
attic

was
pitch-dark
there
too

where

moonbeam
shone
on

floor
.
There
were
sighs
and
mysterious
noises
in
every
comer
when
the
wind
blew
in
through
the
cracks
.
